Holiday and school break dates up fast! Schedule your meet and greet today!

Booking is easy! Simply contact us by text or phone using the number listed on our website. We'll discuss your dog's needs, answer any questions, and schedule a meet-and-greet before confirming your reservation.
For the safety of all dogs in our care, we require current proof of:
Please provide vaccination records before your dog's stay.
We generally board dogs that are 4 years of age and older.
On occasion, we may accept dogs over 2 years old if they are well-mannered, calm, and have good house manners. Since our home includes children who occasionally leave toys out and we often care for senior dogs who appreciate a quieter environment, we find that mature dogs are usually the best fit.
We're flexible! We understand that travel schedules don't always fit into standard business hours. We'll work with you to arrange convenient drop-off and pick-up times whenever possible.
Yes, but only for short periods while we run errands or attend appointments. We do not leave dogs alone for extended periods, and they spend the vast majority of their stay with our family.
No. Our goal is for dogs to feel like part of the family.
Most dogs have free access to the home and are treated as one of our own. We only use crates if a dog is already crate-trained and the owner requests it, or if we feel it's necessary for the dog's comfort or safety.
Yes. We are happy to administer medications during your dog's stay.
For everyone's safety, all medications must be in their original, labeled prescription containers from your veterinarian, along with clear dosing instructions.
We don't have any dogs or cats of our own, so your dog won't be sharing the home with resident pets.
We do have chickens that live in a secure coop and enclosed run in our backyard. The chickens are never allowed to free-range while boarding dogs are outside, and dogs are not given access to the chicken coop or run.
Some dogs are naturally curious and may bark at the chickens, which is perfectly normal. Dogs are always supervised while outdoors, and we take care to keep everyone safe.
Please note that because our chickens occasionally free-range when boarding dogs are indoors, there may be chicken droppings in the yard from time to time.
If your dog has a strong prey drive or a history of chasing or harming small animals, please let us know before booking so we can determine whether our home is the right fit.
Yes! One of the unique benefits of boarding with Wonder Mutt Pet Services is that our home includes a licensed veterinarian. While your dog's stay is not intended to replace veterinary care, having professional veterinary knowledge close at hand provides an extra level of confidence and peace of mind while your dog is in our care.
Yes. Before your dog's first stay, all owners are required to complete and sign our Boarding Agreement. This helps ensure everyone understands our policies and allows us to provide the safest, best possible care for your dog.
We offer a true home environment rather than a traditional kennel. Dogs become part of our family, receive plenty of attention, enjoy comfortable spaces to relax, and are cared for as if they were our own. We intentionally keep our boarding environment personal and low-stress so your dog can feel at home while you're away.
Absolutely! We require a meet-and-greet before your dog's first stay. This gives us an opportunity to get to know your dog, answer your questions, and make sure we're a good fit for one another.
Yes! We welcome dogs of all breeds. We evaluate each dog based on their temperament, behavior, and compatibility with our home environment rather than their breed.
We intentionally keep our boarding numbers low so every dog receives plenty of attention, affection, and individualized care.
Please bring:
We provide food and water bowls, toys, and lots of love!
Yes! If your dog is allowed on furniture at home, they're welcome to cuddle up with us. If you'd prefer they not, we'll happily maintain your household rules.
Absolutely. Dogs enjoy supervised outdoor time, walks, playtime, and plenty of opportunities to stretch their legs and burn off energy based on their age and activity level.
Yes. We have a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely enjoy supervised outdoor time.
Many dogs take a little time to settle in. We do everything we can to help them feel comfortable and secure. If your dog has severe separation anxiety or requires constant supervision, let's discuss their needs before booking to make sure we're the right fit.
Yes. We are happy to feed your dog according to your instructions. Please provide enough food for the entire stay along with any feeding directions.
Yes. We have children in our home who have grown up around dogs and are taught to be respectful of them. Because of this, we look for dogs that are comfortable around children.
If your dog becomes ill or is injured, we'll contact you immediately. If veterinary care is needed, we'll work with you to determine the best course of action.
Yes! We know it's hard to leave your furry family member behind. We'll happily send photos and updates during their stay so you can relax knowing they're having a great time.
Yes. Safety is always our top priority. We carefully supervise interactions and can separate dogs during meals, rest times, or whenever it's in their best interest.
The safety and well-being of every guest is our highest priority. Because we provide boarding in a family home, we are unable to accept dogs that have a history of aggression toward people or other dogs.
During our meet-and-greet, we'll get to know your dog's personality, behavior, and comfort level around both people and other dogs to ensure Wonder Mutt Pet Services is the right fit for everyone.
If your dog is shy, reserved, or simply prefers their own space, that's not necessarily a problem. We're happy to discuss their individual needs before booking.
No. For the safety, comfort, and well-being of all dogs in our care, we require all boarding guests to be spayed or neutered. This policy helps reduce stress, prevent unwanted behaviors, and promote a peaceful home environment for everyone.
No. We do not require dogs to be on flea and tick prevention.
However, all dogs must arrive free of fleas, ticks, lice, and other contagious parasites. If your dog is found to have parasites upon arrival or during their stay, we may require immediate treatment or ask that your dog be picked up to help protect the health of all dogs in our care.
We understand that accidents happen. Occasional potty accidents or messes caused by an upset stomach are simply part of caring for dogs and are not typically a concern.
However, if a dog causes excessive or intentional damage to our home, furnishings, or property through destructive behavior, the owner may be responsible for the cost of repair or replacement. We will always communicate with you if an issue arises.
We primarily offer overnight boarding. Occasionally, we may offer daycare during the summer months or for established clients upon request.
Please note that our daycare is not designed as a place for dogs to simply "burn off energy." Since we don't have dogs of our own and daycare attendance varies, there may not always be other dogs available to play with. Our focus is providing a safe, comfortable home environment rather than a high-energy daycare experience.
Wherever they're most comfortable! Dogs are welcome to sleep in our bedroom, on the bed, on the furniture, or on one of our dog beds. We want your dog to feel as relaxed and at home as possible during their stay.
Yes. Our boarding guests share our home together, and we carefully supervise their interactions. Just like people, some dogs naturally get along better than others. We pay close attention to each dog's personality and will separate or rotate dogs as needed to ensure everyone is safe, comfortable, and happy.
Not necessarily. We have a large fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of room to run, play, explore, and enjoy supervised outdoor time throughout the day.
We may occasionally take dogs for walks, but daily walks are not a guaranteed service.
Absolutely! Dogs are treated like members of our family while they're here. They receive lots of love, attention, affection, and companionship throughout the day. Many of our guests become so comfortable that they can't wait to come back!
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring a favorite blanket, toy, or treats if it helps your dog feel more at home.
Please keep in mind that personal items can occasionally become damaged or misplaced, and toys may need to be put away if they create possessiveness between dogs.
Yes! If someone other than the owner will be dropping off or picking up your dog, just let us know ahead of time and provide us with their contact information.
We understand that travel plans don't always go as expected.
If your flight is delayed or your plans change, we're happy to keep your dog longer at our regular daily rate, provided we have availability.
For scheduled late pickups (for example, dropping off early in the morning but picking up late on the final day), an extended stay fee may apply.
We send invoices through Wave Accounting. Payment can be made by credit card through the invoice, or by cash, Venmo, or Zelle if you prefer.
Holiday reservations are in high demand. Cancellations made within two weeks of a holiday boarding stay are subject to a $50 late cancellation fee.
Because we operate in a family neighborhood, we need to be respectful of our neighbors. Dogs that bark excessively or continuously may not be a good fit for our home boarding environment.
For everyone's safety, we cannot accept dogs that are known to jump or climb fences.
Absolutely! First-time boarding guests are always welcome.
We take the time to help new dogs settle in at their own pace and make every effort to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Most dogs adjust quickly and soon feel right at home.
